I grew up in Indiana, I was an undergrad at IU Bloomington (Comp Lit). Indiana hadn't gone for a Democrat since LBJ in 1964 (the year before I was born). But this year, by a sliver, Indiana has gone for Obama. Apparently, my Mom and her boyfriend Maurice were part of that. Good for them, and good for us all!
Special congratulations to my Thesis student Augustus, sent into Indiana by the Obama campaign to knock on doors, and -- changing the tune a bit -- congratulations and a big thank you to my recently graduated Thesis student Eugene, who reports in comments that he was moved to New Mexico to work for Obama there. Great work everybody!
