Presidents need to think big, isolate the source of problems and act to fix them. So I think Obama needs to abolish the IRS so his appointees can get confirmed and his program move forward.
MSNBC:
Former Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle on Tuesday withdrew his nomination to oversee the Health and Human Services Department, just a few hours after another Obama nominee…. Nancy Killefer withdrew as President Barack Obama's nominee to be the first chief performance officer for the federal government." "Both had controveries with taxes."
I like that, "controversies." I am quite pleased to see them go. Perfectly competent people will still be found to enact Obama's vitally important progressive agenda, Villager handwringing notwithstanding. I must say I am especially pleased to see Daschle go down, if it's really true that he has. Why you may ask? Here you go:
Ask Daschle about the "sanctity" of his marriage to the first wife he dumped for a younger model, capitulating sanctimonious hypocritical "separate-but-equal" jackass weenie.

I thought that was McCain. Oh well, I guess the world
has room for more than one "capitulating sanctimonious hypocritical
'separate-but-equal' jackass weenie". ;->
