Intimations of Intimidation

Wildly implausible claims being made to individuals by SFAI administration that organized adjuncts might well lose benefits and income verges on intimidation, which is -- let us be clear about it -- an unfair labor practice. Since adjuncts are scarcely likely to ratify contracts in which we lose benefits, income, seniority, and such, administration insinuations that bargaining might yield losses can only indicate their own intentions to deny them in negotiations -- hardly something that inspires confidence about our prospects at their mercy without the backing of collegial solidarity and union resources on our side. That adjuncts with "at will" contracts, and without job security, reliable prospects, consequential recognition, or a voice in institutional governance have much of anything to lose in the first place is, I must say, pretty hilarious.
