Long Teaching Day

Early this afternoon we're reading Sheridan's School for Scandal and a bit of Adam Smith (apt, since one is something of a spontaneous order, at least a bit of froth, and the other champions something of a spontaneous other, the invisible hand). We'll also take up Kant's "History With A Cosmopolitan Purpose" published about a decade after the others. Later in the afternoon, I'll be lecturing on Debord's Spectacle and Naomi Klein's critique of the Logo. Expect blogging to be low to no till tomorrow.
